The Environment Public Authority Receives the National Technical Committee on Antimicrobial Resistance

As part of strengthening cooperation and supporting national efforts to combat antimicrobial resistance under the One Health approach, the Environment Public Authority (EPA) welcomed members of the National Technical Committee on Antimicrobial Resistance, accompanied by the Head of the World Health Organization Office in the State of Kuwait. The visit was attended by Dr. Hanan Al-Sarawi, Director of the EPA’s Research and Studies Office and a member of the National Committee.

During their visit to the Analytical Laboratories Center, the delegation was introduced to the center’s technical capabilities and advanced laboratory equipment. The visit highlighted opportunities to strengthen cooperation and coordination among relevant stakeholders, supporting national efforts to address antimicrobial resistance.
